 Welcome to California Heli Services,
California Airlines has decided to extend its fleet into the world of Helicopter for both its passenger and freight services.
This means that we will need to employ more pilots (Captains and above) and staff to accommodate this new and exiting venture that we have embarked upon, I would like to encourage you all to take part in our new training programs and to stand with us as we expand into new horizons here at California Airlines.
Here at CHS we will continue to grow and to expand into an ever growing industry adding to our fleet and personnel alike. We have started this journey with a small fleet of Helicopters that we think would accommodate us in our plans for the future and beyond.
Firstly we have our Reno Stead (4SD) Field that will be our base HQ for all of our training and our new Flight School.
Our Helicopter Services will offer you a range of duties including Joy Flights, Guided Tours, Metro Passenger Services and Freight Services. SAR (Search and Rescue) and Oil Rigging work as well as expedition and Carrier flights; we will be operating out of all of the California Airlines Hubs including Europe and the Oceania.
Now for our Fleet:
 The Robinson R22 Beta 3: This helicopter will be part of our Training Fleet and will also conduct Tours, Metro, and Joy flights and small Charter Flights for only one or two passengers it will also be doing Surveying and Aerial Photography work as well. |
 The Bell 206B3: This helicopter will be used as our Advanced Trainer and will also conduct Tours, Metro, Corporate & Joy Flights, Freight Cartage and some SAR work as well as Oil Rigging work and General Flights and Charters. |
 The Bel 412: This unit is the hart of the SAR division and also the main Oil rig workhorse it will also be involved in freight and passenger flights as well as Tours and expedition flights. |
 The Hues 500D: This is the first of our Corporate flight Helis and will also be used for Tours and Island hopping ect and some general flights and charters as well as Oil rig work. |
 The CH 47 Chinook: This is our largest and our main Freight Heli she will also be involved in Passenger flights as well and some charter and expedition flights. She will also be involved in Carrier and heavy lifting work. |
