The
Golden Bear Service is a special elite wing
of CAX.
The
aircraft have been modified to provide Golden
Bear Service passengers with the finest air
travel comfort available on any commercial airline
flying today. Just as the GB service is unique
in what it offers CAX passengers, it is also
unique in what it offers selected CAX pilots!
Our
aircraft offer finely tuned flight performance
characteristics and one of a kind custom aircraft
textures including custom cockpit views*. In
addition, the Golden Bear Service schedules
offer advanced pilots flexible flight schedules.
These prototypical schedules based on real airline
flights, take you in and out of all CAX hubs
as well as other selected destinations not avilable
in any other branch of the airline.
 |
CAX
only considers pilots who have proven
themselves in other branches of the airline.
The rank of Flight Captain or higher is
required of any pilot wishing to apply
for Golden Bear flight service. |
All
approved applicants begin their flight
testing in our CRJ-700 aircraft.
Upon completion of the
1st "Check Ride", the pilot
is then required to file a detailed flight report of the entire flight,
from takeoff through landing. Once the
"Check Ride" report has been
filed, it will be reviewed by our Director
of Flight Operations.
If
everything is in order, the pilot will
be notified of their certification, and
the Golden Bear Service PIN is added to
their CAX ID card. The pilot can then
choose to fly additional "Check Rides"
for the larger GB aircraft at any time
and once successfully completed, the pilot
can fly any of the GB flight schedules
for the aircraft that they have been certified
to fly. |

|
A Check
Ride is required for each aircraft in
the GB fleet. |
