California
Airlines (CAX) is a Virtual Airline based on the X-Plane flight simulator. Founded in January of 2001, "Cal Air" is
one of the longest running quality VAs in the X-Plane community.
Among the many unique features offered to our pilots is our Golden
Bear Premier Passenger Service, the Golden Cub
corporate flight operation, and the Special Operations Fleet
for special events and operations. The service offers our
more advanced pilots challenging certifications,
flexible routes and luxury appointments for our passengers.
CAX pilots also enjoy network based FLY-IN
EVENTS using the VATSIM and IVAO networks and Squawkbox for X-Plane.
 CAX celebrated its 8th Year Anniversary on January 2009.
CAX has adapted a 99.9% XACARS flight reporting policy. This means that all flight reports must now be submitted via XACARS.
In the rare event that X-Plane crashes/freezes on you before you submit an XACARS report,
we will still have a manual flight report page.
However, the flight time will NOT be added to a pilots total hours until the flight report is verified by the pilots
hub manager as to discourage the submitting of false reports.
CAX is pleased to announce the addition of a new hub in the North American Region - Vancouver International Airport, Vancouver, BC, Canada (CYVR).
CAX introduces the Adventure Flights. Take a trip back in time, take a hot airballon out for a ride. This is an opportunity for CAX pilots to fly exciting flights on aircraft that you may have never thought of flying.

CAX has added a new automated flight reporting system as well as automated pilot cards.

jet you to the major island airports while our newly commissioned
Maui Express services the smaller airports allowing us to
get our passengers where they want to go.

CAX
continues additions to its new route system. The new route
pages can filter the list of routes by any combination of
origin, destination, and aircraft type. FMS routes are steadily
being added

CAX VATSIM Check Ride center is open with new flying challenges
including a totally new and improved IFR check ride. Are
you up to the challenge?
The CAX Plugins include FMS
Programmer and Auto Transponder and Hobbs Meter for
both Mac and PC.
X-Plane 8.64/9.30 final is available.
